FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Do you send out samples?
Yes, we are only too happy to send out samples, but we do charge for them and any delivery fee applicable.
2. I can’t see what I’m looking for. Can you help?
If you are looking for a particular product that we don’t stock we can try and source it for you. Just tell us what you are looking for: the colour, size, quantity etc and we will do our best to help. Minimum quantities may apply.
3. What is the cost of delivery for ribbon only?
Our minimum postage charge is $7.70 regular post or $9.90 express post Australia wide, for up to 500 grams in weight of ribbon. It is $12.10 regular post or $14.30 express post for up to 3kg in weight of ribbon. Of course the ribbon must fit in the Australia Post satchels we use.
Larger ribbon orders are sent by courier, at our discretion. See question 9, below, for charges.
4. Can you custom make cardboard and wooden boxes and baskets?
Yes we can. For larger quantities, we can have items made to your specifications overseas with one of our regular factories. Lead times apply. Contact us for further information.
5. Why can't you tell me how much the delivery cost will be at the checkout when we place an order?
Because a lot of our items are bulky the delivery cost is worked out on the weight and/or volume of your order.To calculate this, in most cases, we need to pack the order, weigh it and measure it. Rest assured that our delivery rates are very competitive. If you are unsure about placing an order, without the delivery cost, email us first and we can quote you the delivery charge. We require the item number/s,quantity/ies, your delivery suburb and postcode.
Alternatively you can go through the ordering process and at the checkout stage select direct debit as your payment method. We will then quote you a delivery charge and give you the payment options, should you wish to proceed.
Our website is an instant payment system. Once you have paid by credit card you have confirmed your order and it will be despatched.
6. Can you send ribbon to New Zealand?
Yes we can from as little as AUS $7.00 for up to 4 rolls.
7. Do you have a minimum order?
No.
8. Can we visit your warehouse to purchase or do we have to purchase online?
You can visit either our flower showroom or our basket and ribbon warehouse anytime during trading hours. See "about us" for the address and trading hours.
You can also order online and pick up from our warehouse if you don't want to pay for delivery.
9. What is your minimum delivery charge for baskets?
All basket orders are sent by courier.
The minimum delivery charges are as follows:
In Sydney, most of Wollongong, most of the Central Coast, and parts of the Blue Mountains and Newcastle it is $13.20 inc gst via Clipper couriers.
It is $13.20 inc gst elsewhere in NSW, and interstate, via Direct Freight Express.
We do not post baskets unless you live, or have a business in a remote destination.
Larger quantity and high value ribbon orders are also sent by courier at the above rates.
10. I don't understand the basket measurements on your website.
All basket measurements are length x width x height, in centimetres. Measurements do not include any protruding handles. Please keep in mind that all baskets are hand made, and there can be variations in size (to those stated on our website).
11. Do you accept American Express?
Yes we do, over the phone only. We do not accept it online. To pay by Amex select direct deposit as your payment method at checkout. When we have notified you of the delivery charge you can pay over the phone.
